Building Guild was engaged to deliver the major refurbishment and redevelopment of Pritchard’s Hotel, a large-scale hospitality and premium gaming venue in Western Sydney. The project involved extensive demolition, resurfacing of 4500 M2 car park including lighting, structural alterations, new building works, façade upgrades, new roofing, masonry construction, joinery, signage, and comprehensive internal fit-out works.
The redevelopment also incorporated significant hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, security and stormwater infrastructure upgrades together with external works and site-wide improvements.
Delivered through a staged design and construction methodology, the works were undertaken across multiple building zones and involved the coordination of structural steel installation, new building services, façade enhancements and extensive hospitality refurbishment works.
Building Guild managed design finalisation, authority approvals, procurement of long-lead items, trade coordination and construction sequencing to maintain programme certainty across a complex multi-stage redevelopment.
A key project challenge was maintaining safe access and operational continuity within an active venue environment while delivering major construction works.
Building Guild implemented detailed logistics planning, traffic management, temporary services, stakeholder communication protocols and staged construction sequencing to minimise disruption to patrons, staff and surrounding operations.
The result was the successful transformation of a major hospitality asset while maintaining rigorous safety, quality and programme outcomes throughout delivery.
