Building Guild’s 5th project within 83-85 Market Street Wollongong encompassed workplaces on Levels 1,2 and 3 as well as base building works. The project required significant focus on minimising impact on surrounding tenants and agile communication to meet our clients’ request to fast-track the program.
The level 1 fit-out for Morrisons legal firm included a new client reception, open plan workstations, private meeting rooms, quiet office and several break-out areas, allowing for team collaboration, as well as solitary work. Incorporated into the design was warm timbers, earthy accents, ambient lighting and textural wall finishes, that compliment the natural light and exterior garden used as a backdrop.
The additional works included a workplace fit-out, a split tenancy on Level 2 as well as base building works to prepare the space for future tenants, ultimately assisting the building owner sell the space.
With the building tenanted and businesses operating on surrounding levels to the work areas, significant focus was placed on minimising impact on tenants throughout the works period, therefore logistics planning was critical. Our team’s expert approach in managing the project, combined with our existing knowledge of the entire building resulted in a successful and streamlined project approach.
