Building Guild was engaged by Nash Project Management to transform the building in its entirety, which spans a total of seven floors.
The project entailed:
— A full car park upgrade
— Base building excavation
— The construction of end of trip facilities
— Refurbished office spaces, on each level
— A cafeteria fit-out
— Fire detection service extensions and upgrades
— Mechanical systems upgrades
— Civic system upgrades
The workplaces consisted of five typical floors and one converted penthouse floor with a structural extension of a new adjoining balcony.
Working closely with Nash Project Management and John Fletcher Properties, Building Guild utilised adaptive planning to efficiently navigate both the expanding scope of works and various challenges brought about by external circumstances. Through creative design solutions and programme flexibility, Building Guild not only mitigated the challenges brought about by COVID, constant rain, flooding, and supply chain disruptions, but exceeded client expectations and delivered a project with an exemplary level of design and serviceability — all while meeting tenant move in time frames. In total, the project was completed within the span of 25 weeks.
