The upgrade at Casula Mall involved the refurbishment of the shopping precinct’s carparking facility. The project involved civil construction including demolition, excavation and craning works.
The project scope included façade upgrade, carpark resurfacing, and external landscaping upgrade works. The upgrade also entailed the replacement of bitumen and concrete, in addition to, new landscaping, line marking, wheel stops, concrete kerbs, paving and car spaces. Further work included the repair and installation of fencing and trolley bays.
Ongoing traffic management plans were implemented to ensure public safety as this was crucial to ensuring successful and timely project delivery. Tailored site-specific traffic management and risk plans were essential to ensure that construction works did not prevent ongoing access to the mall by customers and staff.
