Shopping Centre Car Park Upgrade

Our Design & Construction head contract works for Roselands entailed an upgrade to the premises’ services and compliance.

The project became necessary after several non-compliance issues were identified. The issues included structural integrity of the car park, concrete spalling, fire safety items, fire exit stairs and fire compliance on car park levels.

We undertook a thorough site survey to identify the rudimentary scope before remediating the car park slabs of both the soffit and the surface. We also identified issues with the structural integrity of some slabs due to concrete spalling. Our team then upgraded handrails, balustrades and fire sprinkler systems.

We developed a comprehensive methodology to expedite the most cost-effective process of works on site to deliver the best result, while also ensuring the safety of all shoppers, centre staff, and local residents in and around the vicinity.

Demonstrating our high level of innovation, we introduced hydro-demolition to remove the existing concrete spalling, which minimised project timeline.
