Crown Sydney launched its new working environment dedicated for raising specialists in hospitality, tourism and management. A contemporary design, rich with Indigenous elements, redefined the arrival experience at the Crown training facility. We undertook the fit-out works that also included an integrated base building upgrade of the amenities, lobby and services.
As a way of celebrating Crown Sydney commitment to the employment of Indigenous Australian’s, Indigenous design language was weaved into the blueprint of the space, including the curved entry wall which pays homage to the themes of The Dreaming.
To harness natural light, the façade glazing was refurbished, and new glass installed with butt joints to create a framing centered around the view of the newly constructed Crown Towers. A seamless transition was created between the external frontage and the internal use of space.
Due to the high level of surrounding works, a considered program and local logistics planning was critical. The fit-out achieved a 6 Star Green Star Interiors rating as well as a 5 Star NABERS Energy Tenancy rating.
