Prestigious world-class venue Crown Sydney property upgraded the opulent residences poolside cabanas. A pinnacle modern design that harmoniously combines an opulent hotel, prestigious apartments, signature restaurants, premium gaming areas and a lavish spa at its waterfront location. Repeat client Crown Sydney engaged Building Guild for the fit-out.
As the residences pool cabanas sit on the 6th floor and constraints on construction access via the hotel meant, the project required critical coordination to ensure no disruption to the highly trafficked Barangaroo Road nor the high profile hotel and residential living quarters.
Each cabana area boasts large custom glass paneling therefore multiple cranes requiring full road closures of Barangaroo road to transport the 250 kilogram panels from street level to the 6th story of the Crown Residences. Building Guild coordinated throughout the project to manage the constricted access on Barangaroo road which also could not allow a crane large enough to transport the glass panels into the cabanas, located further inside the building’s boundary. Building Guild managed the access and goods move by utilising one crane to lift a second crane, up onto the building. Thus allowing panels to be transported from the first crane at street level to the second crane, which in turn transferred them into the project location.
The stunning cabanas installed by Building Guild add yet another shining jewel to the Crown.
