Located within the iconic Civic Tower at 66 Goulburn Street, Sydney — constructed above the historic Masonic Centre — this project saw Building Guild deliver a refined speculative workplace fit-out on Level 8 of the A-Grade commercial tower.

Building Guild was engaged to reimagine the floorplate into a contemporary, market-ready office environment, enabling prospective tenants to immediately understand the potential of the space. The scope of works included full make-good, speculative fit-out works, upgraded lobby and amenities, and a comprehensive services upgrade, all delivered to a high-quality commercial standard.

The Level 8 design prioritises openness, light and flexibility. A generous break-out zone anchors the floor, centred around a feature island kitchenette with integrated joinery, complemented by timber-lined banquette seating and thoughtfully placed partitioning. Floor-to-ceiling glazing floods the workspace with natural light, enhancing both functionality and visual appeal. A warm palette of terracotta tones is balanced with bold black accents across lighting, joinery, signage and furniture details, creating a modern café-inspired workplace with strong character.

Delivered under a 16-week program, the project was completed on time and to an exceptional standard, reflecting Building Guild’s collaborative, client-focused approach and expertise in delivering high-quality speculative office environments.
