Workplace Fit-out, Lobby and Bathroom Upgrade

Located in the heart of Sydney’s premier financial district and embedded in the best of Sydney commerce and culture, The Governor Phillip Tower at 1 Farrer Place is a first-class office space across two landmark towers.
Collectively owned by Dexus, Lend Lease & GPT Group, the Level 19 works included the refurbishment of the lobby, bathrooms and goods lift lobby, the addition of a new DDA WC and a the fit-out of a 500m2 premium office fit-out, reflective of the building’s pedigree. The Level 26 lobby and bathroom upgrades were highly acclaimed and therefore have been implemented as the quality benchmark within the building.

The fit-out comprised a complete services overhaul as well as creating a large breakout area consisting of an exposed concrete ceiling and polished concrete flooring to create a contemporary, industrial feel. The furniture and workstations were of the highest specification and coordinated with bespoke joinery that was created specifically for this tenancy. The inter-tenancy wall was clad in custom paneling which carried through to the breakout, connecting the areas. During the project there was a new fire report completed for the building, which included certification and requirement alterations specific to the asset in which we were able to seamlessly integrate into our works. The construction programme for the integrated fit-out and base building upgrade works was ten weeks, during which time we had a close working relationship with Arnold Lane to ensure quality in the built detail. This has led to Building Guild’s continued construction opportunity within the Dexus, Lend Lease and GPT premium grade asset.
