Nestled in one of Potts Point’s infamous laneways, Building Guild delivered Room Ten’s Pina, after its success as a pop-up in Llankelly Place.
Working in partnership with ACME & Co, the brief was to bring a lifeline to something once considered a ‘hole in the wall’. The completed project features brass accents and hardwood timber that are revealed by ambient lighting, lifting the presence of this inner-city delight. This hidden beauty contains features that reflect intricate details with an emphasis on warm, natural colours and textures. From terracotta tiled tables to grassy green steel chairs paired with custom light fittings, our craftsmanship will stand the test of time.
The space also features linear details inspired by bénton ciré, a French form made from natural polished waxed concrete. Perfectly paired with Zinc upper finishes on bench tops, the result is a beautiful and textural space.
