#WideVision Impact Awards 2021 Recipient: Andre Falcone Awards
AWARDS | Building Guild Project Team Employee, a proud alumnus of the Building Design Process unit, has been awarded Western Sydney University’s #WideVision Impact Award for showcasing his state-of-the-art design using BIM.
After a string of achievements under his belt during his undergrad program are many, the foremost of them being the Winner of a Sustainable Design competition at Transport for NSW for Parramatta Light Rail. He is well versed with BIM tools such as ArchiCAD, Autodesk Revit, Infraworks, and A360 for common data environment.
This is another splendid example of what BIMed 4.0 can achieve. BIMed 4.0 changes the role of the students from being a receiver of information, to a model author and makes the cohort a team of professionals working together towards delivering design solutions to an end-user. BIMed 4.0 prepares graduates for BIM authoring roles and future BIM Lead roles which is a clear progression from CAD or BIM technician roles. BIMed 4.0 is a game-changer enabling a redesign of construction education for industry4.
