RETROFITTING AN ICON I The Queen Victoria Building (QVB)

We are actively working with clients on retrofitting and improving existing building standards. The brief for our heritage refurbishment and conservation project in Australia’s most iconic and state significant building – The Queen Victoria Building, included a requirement to make the buildings operation more sustainable. Highly significant original elements were conserved, whilst we introduced new and innovative solutions to include new sustainable operations to the building in energy saving systems and smart water.

Building a sustainable future requires the collective effort of all stakeholders to achieve a transition to a net zero environment.

This magnificent piece of heritage meets modern functionality. We are pleased to breathe new life into the largest and grandest Federation arcade in Australia.
