Mayor Opens CBD Commercial Building Event

LAUNCH EVENT | Wollongong City Council Lord Mayor Gordon Bradbery officially reopened the newly completed 83-85 Market Street project in a launch event that was held on the 5th of April.

Guests were lead on a tour that went through the new lobby, end of trip facility, and refurbished office spaces — as well as the completely new workplace and accompanying balcony on the 6th floor.

In his opening address, the mayor stated the buildings transformation into an A-grade office space was a necessary investment into the revitalisation of Wollongong’s CBD; “It highlights the fact that Wollongong is now recognised as a regional capital and a focus of a lot of business and employment opportunities,” he identified.

The event was held to celebrate Building Guild’s completion of this project with the City Mayor as well as teams at Nash Project Management, Colliers, and John Fletcher Properties.
