We were appointed to deliver We Are Social’s workplace fit-out, for their new premises located within an historically significant building in Chippendale.
Set within the former MacRobertson’s chocolate factory, this repurposed workspace retained the former factory’s character. Working within the heritage fabric of such a significant building required careful construction.
The floor wide tenancy fit-out spanned a total area of 700sq situated on the top level and was designed around a central void. The commercial workplace project involved refurbishment and fit-out, comprising a complex fire rating between a mixed-use building of commercial and residential tenants. The fit-out also incorporated a complex mechanical system, an intricate audio-visual component, curved walls, partitioning, and oak flooring. Rich in character, the fit-out breathed new life into this important heritage building.
